The rules of the road when you buy, sell, or affiliate with CodeKart BD. Plain language where we can, precise where we must.
By accessing or using CodeKart BD (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you don’t agree with any part, please don’t use the Service. By creating an account or completing a purchase, you confirm you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.
These terms form a binding legal agreement between you (the “Customer”) and CodeKart BD Ltd., a company registered in Bangladesh under RJSC.
To use the Service, you must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account, and keep that information updated.
CodeKart BD sells digital products including but not limited to WordPress themes, WordPress plugins, PHP scripts, mobile app templates, and other software (collectively, “Products”). Each Product is sold under either a GPL license or a commercial license, as clearly stated on the product page before purchase.
When you purchase a Product, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Product according to the terms of its specific license. Most WordPress themes and plugins ship under GPL, allowing unlimited use across your own and your client’s sites. Commercial-licensed Products have specific site or domain limits stated on their listing.
Every purchase generates a unique signed license certificate with a verifiable serial number. This certificate proves you legitimately acquired the Product and is your official record of ownership. You may share the certificate file with clients or auditors as proof of legitimate licensing.
All prices on CodeKart BD are listed in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT, ৳). Prices include applicable VAT and government taxes where required by Bangladesh law. We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already placed.
We accept payment via bKash, Nagad, Rocket, international credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), and bank transfer. All payments are processed by certified payment processors — we never store full card numbers on our servers.
You may use Products purchased from CodeKart BD for any lawful purpose consistent with their license terms. This includes personal projects, internal company use, and client work — within the scope of each license.
CodeKart BD does not own the intellectual property of most Products listed on the Service — we are an authorized distributor or reseller for each Product’s original creator. The original developer or publisher retains all intellectual property rights to their Product.
Our trademarks, brand names, logo, website design, and proprietary content (including this Terms document) are the property of CodeKart BD Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our written permission.
Most Products include free updates for as long as the original developer maintains them — typically lifetime. We deliver updates through your account dashboard and notify you by email when they’re available.
Direct technical support for Products themselves is provided by the original developer, with their published terms. CodeKart BD provides purchase support (download issues, license activation, payment problems, account management) in Bangla, English, or Banglish during our business hours and best-effort outside them.

If you participate in our Affiliate Program, additional terms apply — including commission rates, attribution rules, payout schedules, and permitted promotional methods. See the Affiliate Program page for full terms and to apply.
You may close your account at any time by contacting our support team. Upon closure, you retain access to Products you’ve already purchased (governed by their individual licenses), but lose access to your dashboard, future updates, and affiliate earnings.
We may suspend or terminate your account for material breaches of these Terms, including fraud, chargeback abuse, or violation of permitted use. We’ll notify you of the reason and give you a reasonable opportunity to respond, except in cases of clear abuse where immediate action is necessary.
Products are provided “as is” — we and the original developers make no warranties of any kind beyond those explicitly stated on each Product’s listing page. While we vet every Product before listing, we cannot guarantee compatibility with every possible WordPress, PHP, or hosting environment.
To the maximum extent permitted by Bangladesh law, CodeKart BD’s total liability for any claim related to these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Before pursuing legal action, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation, including by mediation through the Bangladesh Council for Arbitration if necessary.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance by email to registered customers and through a banner on the Service. Continued use of the Service after the new Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
The current version is always available at this URL with a “Last updated” date at the top. Archived versions are kept for one year and available upon request.
