Refund Policy

Digital products are usually non-refundable elsewhere, but we believe a fair return window makes sense — here’s when we refund, when we can’t, and how to ask.

SECTION 01 //

Our 30-day refund window

We offer a 30-day refund window from the date of purchase on most digital products sold through CodeKart BD. If a product doesn’t work as described, you’ve changed your mind, or you bought it by accident, you can request a refund within those 30 days and we’ll process it.

Refunds are issued back to the original payment method whenever possible — bKash refunds within 3 business days, Nagad and Rocket within 5 business days, and card payments within 7–10 business days (your bank controls the exact timing).

NOTE
The 30-day window starts from the moment of purchase, not from the date you downloaded the product. We track this from your order timestamp, not your download history.

What's eligible for a refund

Most of our catalogue qualifies for the 30-day refund window. Specifically, you can request a refund if:

  • The product doesn’t work as described on its listing page
  • The product is incompatible with the WordPress, PHP, or platform version stated in its requirements
  • You purchased the wrong product by mistake and haven’t activated the license yet
  • You changed your mind and decided not to use the product
  • The product has critical security vulnerabilities that we haven’t patched within 7 days of disclosure

What's not eligible

A small number of situations fall outside our standard refund window, and we want to be upfront about them before you buy:

  • Products you’ve actively used on a live client site for more than 7 days
  • Bundle deals where you’ve already downloaded more than three of the bundled items
  • Subscription renewals after the renewal date has passed (cancel before renewal instead)
  • Custom development services after work has begun
  • Affiliate commission reversals on confirmed sales older than 30 days
IMPORTANT
Once a license certificate has been issued and activated on a production site for more than 7 days, that license is considered “used” for refund purposes — the original developer counts it against their license pool.
SECTION 04 //

How to request a refund

Refund requests are processed by our support team — there’s no automated button you need to find. We do it this way because we want to learn why something didn’t work for you, and often we can fix the underlying issue faster than a refund would resolve it.

Three ways to request:

  • Email: Send your order number and reason to refunds@codekartbd.com
  • WhatsApp: Message +880 1700 000000 with your order number
  • Account dashboard: Click the “Request refund” link next to the order in your Orders tab

Our team responds to refund requests within one business day. If approved, the refund is initiated immediately and you’ll receive a confirmation email with the expected processing timeline for your payment method.

SECTION 05 //

Disputes and chargebacks

Please reach out to us before filing a chargeback or dispute with your bank or payment provider. We’re a small team in Dhaka — we can usually resolve any issue within 24 hours, often faster than your bank’s dispute process.

Unauthorized chargebacks (filed without first contacting us, or after we’ve already issued a refund) may result in your account being suspended pending resolution. We will provide your payment provider with proof of delivery, license activation logs, and download records to contest the chargeback.

Changes to this policy

We may update this refund policy from time to time as our catalogue and operations evolve. Any changes will apply only to purchases made after the new policy’s effective date — your existing orders are always governed by the policy that was in effect at the time you bought.

When we make material changes, we’ll notify registered customers by email at least 14 days before the new policy takes effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
